Rates and Fees

Billed Jan. 1 due Feb. 1

10% late fee

Annual Dues: $40 Charge per member, independent of the number of water shares

Annual Assessment: $100 Charge per share for office expenses, operational expenses including depreciation and repair, independent of installed water meter.

Annual Meter charge: $100 Charge per installed meter for cost of pumping, storage, delivery, treatment, etc.

Billed July 1 due August 1

Water Usage Rates –Tiered system

Tier 1 -- $6.50 per 1000 gallons ------- --- 1 to 35,000 gallons

Tier 2 -- $9.75 per 1000 gallons ---- 35,000 to 75,000 gallons

Tier 3 -- $15.00 per 1000 gallons -- - 75,000 to 110,000 gallons

Tier 4 -- $22.00 per 1000 gallons – 110,000 to 145,000 gallons

Tier 5 -- $33.00 per 1000 gallons -- 145,000 to 180,000 gallons

Additional Fees

Service Fee --$33/request Charge for turning a meter off or on

Leak Charge -- $ 115/leak Charge for locating a leak on the shareholders side of the meter

New Meter Installation Fee -- $13,000/meter Charge for a new meter installation, includes costs to connect up to 50 feet from the water main to the customer’s property line. Additional footage to the property line will be added at actual cost basis

Certificate Transfer Fee -- $225/transfer + $25/ transferred share Charge to transfer membership to a new owner. This covers costs for meter reading, administration, escrow correspondence, reissuing share, etc.

Administrative fee – $10.00 Fee for certified letters sent for past due bills or other matters that require special attention.

You must have a personal shut-off valve on your side of the meter. Please do not use the meter lock-off valve to control your water supply. Breakage will cause a shut down of the system for repair and will incur major expenses.

Delinquent bills can result in water shut-off, share cancellation or property liens, and a 1.5% additional late fee, compounded per month.
